The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour heads to the tight, 3/10-mile Scotia Speedworld oval, located just outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia for the Nova Truck Centres Make A Wish 150 this Saturday, June 18th. The Nova Truck Centres 150 marks the second of four stops at Scotia Speedworld on the 2016 schedule and race three of 12 for the popular stock car racing series. Grandstand gates for the Nova Truck Centres Make A Wish 150 open at 3:00 PM; Atlantic Tiltload qualifying is slated for 6:00 PM.

Nova Truck Centres has brought their two Dartmouth locations under one roof in a brand new facility located at 670 Wilkinson Avenue in Burnside. The new location boasts ample parking for your tractors and trailers, 24 service bays, 2000 sq ft Parts Show Room, 7000 sq ft Parts Warehouse and a Drivers Lounge that includes: laundry, showers, quiet room, TV & WiFi. The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour championship point standings find Cassius Clark (Farmington, ME) still atop the leader board but Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) is hot on his heels following his victory last weekend at the Ron MacGillivray 150, just one point separates the two heading into the Nova Truck Centres Make A Wish 150. Current Series champion Donald Chisholm sits third, just 6 points behind Clark. DJ Casey (Prospect, NS) and Cole Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) are currently tied in the fourth position.

Also on the Saturday racing card with the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour are two of Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series divisions. Joining the Tour are the four-cylinder Toursec Lightning cars and the Coors Light Trucks who will run 25 lap features prior to the Nova Truck Centres Make A Wish 150.

Joining the festivities on Saturday will be the Atlantic Canada Make A Wish foundation and three of their “Wish Kids”. Dylan, age 6 from Kingston, NS; Chase, age 9 from Springhill, NS, and Elizabeth, age 5 from Windsor, NS. The Make A Wish Foundation will also be selling tickets on Saturday for two airline tickets anywhere WestJet flies. Tickets will be sold for $10 each or three for $25.

Race Time Radio will be at Scotia Speedworld Saturday for the Nova Truck Centres Make A Wish 150. The race broadcast will be available for listeners absolutely free, no subscription necessary, via www.racetimeradio.com by clicking the “Listen Live” links in the upper right of the page, or by downloading their smart phone App, for iPad, iPhone, & Android.

Admission for Saturday’s Nova Truck Centres Make A Wish 150 is $25.00 for adults; $5.00 for youth; pit admission is $30.00. Children 7 and under are admitted for free (Cash Only). If you’re in town Friday night you will want to catch INEX Night at Scotia Speedworld, with Bandoleros, Legends, and Sportsman all seeing extended distance features. Adult admission for the Weekly Racing Series is $14 for adults and $4 for youth (8-15yrs)

Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility.
