The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is headed to Petty International Raceway this Saturday for the Cummins 200. This is the third and final trip of the season to the ¼ mile oval located just outside of Moncton in River Glade, NB.  The 200-lap event marks round 10 of 12 for the popular regional touring series. The Cummins 200 is the highlight event of the 55th running of the River Glade International taking place this weekend at Petty International Raceway. Grandstands for Saturday’s main event open at 4:00 PM, qualifying will take place at 6:00 PM with Atlantic Tiltload heat races.

With just three races to go the point battle continues at the top of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour championship standings, Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) maintains a slim 14 point margin over Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, PE). Both drivers have multiple Series victories at Petty International with Hicken being the most recent victor, picking up the win at the Irving 150 in July. Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) and Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) are also locked in a battle for third with Butcher edging Slaunwhite by 10 markers heading into the Cummins 200.  Dylan Gosbee (Cornwall, PE) also remains in the hunt and sits fifth, just 36 points out of third.

Craig Ward (Riverview, NB) enters this final stop in New Brunswick leading the Exide Batteries Rookie of the Year chase. Ward has been racing for twenty years throughout his home Province, but this will be the last time he’ll race in New Brunswick as a rookie. Ward who pilots the No. 02 is the only full time team racing on the Series from New Brunswick and enters the Cummins 200 and River Glade International Weekend in 11th in the overall point standings.

Kicking off Saturday’s racing card will be the Leisure Days Bandoleros, Mr. Transmission Mini Stock and the Maritime League of Legends.  Please note opening classes will be running heats and features for this event.
