GEARY, NB – One week after successfully dodging rain drops to get the Riverview Ford Lincoln Season Opener completed, Speedway 660 was not so lucky today. A forecast of solid rain throughout Sunday afternoon has forced officials to cancel the Weekly Point Racing card scheduled for Sunday, May 26th. This event does not have a rain date and will not be made up. Officials from Speedway 660 hope to work with the Atlantic Modified Tour to reschedule their event at the track for later in the 2019 season.

The popular Kids Day will be the next event on the Speedway 660 schedule on Sunday, June 2nd. A pre-race pit area autograph session will take place prior to the racing action and a candy scramble will be held during intermission. The green flag goes in the air for racing next Sunday at 2pm with all four house divisions in action.

Fans are urged to mark Saturday, June 1st on their schedule as Riverview Ford Lincoln will be hosting a racecar show and shine. You can meet some of your favorite Speedway 660 Saturday night and Sunday afternoon stars and see their racing rides up close and personal. The show will run from 10am to 1pm at Riverview Ford Lincoln at 970 Hanwell Road in Fredericton.
