HALIFAX, NS – The Auto World Maritime All Star Sportsman Series (MASS) is racing into its third season with an eight-event schedule at five different tracks in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

The Auto World MASS Sportsman season will start and finish in New Brunswick this year. Petty International Raceway (Petitcodiac) has two races including the season opener on May 11 alongside the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series, and as the headliner on August 3. River Glade Speedway (River Glade) will host the series season finale on August 24 as the headliner on its 60th anniversary weekend; this will be the first event at River Glade in nearly two decades.

In Nova Scotia, Scotia Speedworld (Halifax) will host two races (May 18 and June 22) as part of events also featuring the ECI Pro Stock Tour. Riverside International Speedway (James River) has two stops – and three races. The first is on July 19 as part of the IWK 250 Super Race Weekend and the second stop sees a doubleheader double points event as headliner for the Summer Sizzler on August 17. The series will make its annual stop in western Nova Scotia at Lake Doucette Motor Speedway on June 1.

Auto World Truro is returning as the series sponsor with owner Dylan Blenkhorn excited to support the series for the third year.

“We’re excited to be back again this year,” said Blenkhorn. “It’s been a good fit for us and we appreciate the support we get in return from racers and from fans.”
