At 65 years of age Mike Rowe is still adding to his legendary racing resume. On Sunday he became the 2015 Pro All Stars North SLM Series champion. Rowe, from Turner, Maine, finished eighth in the series season finale which was won by Jeff Taylor. This title adds to several others Rowe has earned during a racing career that spans almost five decades. Rowe is a seven-time Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) track champion (1976, 1978-81, 1989-90) with 150 career wins at OPS; 1994 ACT Pro Stock Tour champion; 1999 NEPSA champion; 2006 PASS South champion; six-time OPS Triple Crown champion; and a three-time TD Banknorth 250 winner (1984, 1997, 2005).

Dave Farrington Jr. finished second in the race followed by Glen Luce. Scott Robbins and Tim Bracket rounded out the top five. Complete results follow…
