OXFORD, ME – Sunday saw the 46th running of the historic Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway. The race started with track builder, Bob Bahre, giving the command to start engines. Forty-four cars took the green flag and battled for the $25,000-to-win checkered flag. In the end, it was Maine’s Travis Benjamin grabbing the honors, and the cheque. It was Benjamin’s third win in the big race.

Two cars out of Nova Scotia were running in the top five with 10 laps to go; the No. 13 out of the Pictou-based King Racing shop with driver Cassius Clark from Main, and the No. 53 with Porters Lake native Cole Butch at the helm. Both were shuffled back in a late-race restart, finishing sixth (Butcher) and eighth (Clark). New Brunswick’s Ashton Tucker finished 38th.
