The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is headed to Petty International Raceway, located just outside of Moncton, NB for this Saturday’s Irving Blending & Packaging 150. The 150-lap feature marks round seven of 12 for the popular regional touring series. Approximately 20 teams from across the Maritimes are expected for Saturday’s event. Qualifying for the Irving Blending & Packaging 150 will take place at 6:00 PM with Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races. Tickets for the Irving Blending & Packaging 150 will be available at the gate on race day.

The championship points chase is starting to heat up as we round the halfway mark of the 2017 season. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) maintains his position on top of the standings following his victory at an unforgettable IWK 250 at Riverside International last Saturday. Two-time Series champion Shawn Turple (Enfield, NS) sits very close behind with just 21 markers between them. Dylan Gosbee (Cornwall, PE) is having his career best season to date and sits third heading into the Irving Blending & Packaging 150. Cole Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) and Greg Proude (Springvale, PE) sit fourth and fifth respectively, still well within the hunt.

Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) leads the Exide Batteries Rookie of the Year standings at the halfway point in the season. Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS) sits 44 points behind with six races left in the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour season. Stevie Lively (Shubenacadie, NS) and Robbie MacEwen (Sherwood, PE) remain in the hunt as the series passes the halfway mark in the quest for top freshman glory.

The Leisure Days RV Bandolero and Maritime League of Legends will race on the undercard prior to the Irving Blending & Packaging 150. Admission for Petty International Raceway on Saturday is $30.00 for adults, $10.00 for youth (8-18 years old); pit admission is $35.00. Children 7 and under are admitted for free.
