The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is headed to Petty International Raceway this Saturday for the Cummins 200. This is the third and final trip of the season to the ¼-mile oval located just outside of Moncton in River Glade, NB.  The 200-lap stock car event marks round 10 of 12 for the popular regional touring series. The Cummins 200 is the highlight event of the 53rd running of the River Glade International taking place this weekend at Petty International Raceway. Grandstands for Saturday’s main event open at 3:00 PM, qualifying will take place at 6:00 PM with Atlantic Tiltload heat races.

With just three races to go the championship chase is heating up, mathematically many teams are still in it but have ground to make up on the top three. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) missed the podium for the first time this season at the Atlantic Cat 250 but maintains a 22 point lead over two-time champ Shawn Turple (Enfield, NS). Atlantic Cat 250 winner Cole Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) moves up to the third spot and would love to repeat as Series champion. Greg Proude (Springvale, PE) continues his strong season and currently sits fourth while Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) finds himself completing the top five in the chase for the Championship.

Kicking off Saturday’s racing card will be the Leisure Days Bandoleros and the Maritime League of Legends who will race a 50 lap feature prior to the Cummins 200. There will be an autograph session with the cars and stars of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour following the Legends 50 lap feature.

Tickets for the CUMMINS 200 will be available at the gates (cash only). Admission is $35.00 for adults, $10.00 for youth (8-18 yrs.); children 7 and under are free.  Pit admission is $40.00.
