Petty International Raceway and Speedway 660 have announced a partnership that will see the two tracks form a 10-race series for the Late Model Sportsman division. The pair of New Brunswick tracks are the anchors of Late Model Sportsman racing within the Province with the goal in sights of further strengthening the division into the upcoming season and beyond.

Each track will host five races in the 2023 season with an overall champion between the two tracks being crowned. Schedules, race lengths and competitor information will be released as it becomes available from the tracks. Boundary Creek, New Brunswick racer Alexandra O’Blenis took home the Speedway 660 track and the Petty International Raceway A.E. McKay Builders Late Model Sportsman championships in 2022.

Petty International Raceway will host a New Year’s Bash on Saturday, December 31. A 75-lap Endurance Race and Demolition Derby will highlight the afternoon portion of the card at 2 pm. At 6 pm, Petty International Raceway will crown their 2022 champions with their annual Awards Presentation. The social event will include food and drinks, a washer toss, music, a bonfire, and fireworks to complete the night. A $20 pit bracelet will serve as admission for both events.
