Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS) took home his second victory of the season winning the Nova Truck Centres 150 in support of the incredible athletes of the Special Olympics.  Naugle took the lead from Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) on lap 112 and never looked back. Slaunwhite, who led 98 circuits, picked up the R&D Performancentre Most Laps Led award but had to settle for second. Danny Chisholm (Port Williams, NS) didn’t disappoint in his East Coast International Trucks Pro Stock Tour debut landing in the final spot on the podium. Chisholm was piloting the #89 car as part of Nova Racing’s Driver Development Program. Mike Rodgers (Moncton, NB) had another consistent showing as did Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) who finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Birthday boy Stephen Lively (Shubenacadie, NS) celebrated in style, picking up the pole via a win in the first Atlantic Tiltload Heat Race. Slaunwhite won the second Heat Race, which set the field for the Nova Truck Centres 150.

Gary Elliott (Truro, NS) was the Fast Eddie Racewear Lucky Dog award winner, while Jordan Veinotte (Porter’s Lake, NS) was the Kenny U Pull Hard Charger. Chisholm was the Rookie of the Race.
