HAGERSVILLE, ON – Jukasa Motor Speedway will host its first-ever weeknight event on July 25 featuring the APC United Late Model Series as well as the first-ever Jukasa Mini Stock Invitational.

The 100-lap APC Series event will undoubtedly attract some of Ontario’s best Pro Late Model competitors as well as a special appearance by former NASCAR star Kenny Wallace piloting a car prepared by longtime series standout Jamie Cox.

“This is a good car and this series is loaded with talent and I am excited to be back to one of the first tracks I raced at and meet the fans” mentions Kenny Wallace.

Thursday’s race will serve as Round 6 of the APC Series schedule and will play a pivotal role in the race for the 2019 tour championship – as current leader Billy Schwartzenburg will enter with a narrow 2-point lead over former Delaware Speedway weekly champion Matt Pritiko.

“Every APC Series race we’ve hosted so far has brought our fans to their feet and left people talking for days,” says Jukasa Motor Speedway General Manager Alex Nagy. “I have every reason to believe that this Thursday will be another race that people will walk out of our speedway talking about for a long time.”

“The APC Series has been the most talked-about tour in Ontario this year and we can’t wait to see them write another chapter in their season this Thursday night,” adds Nagy. “We’ve never hosted a mid-week show before. But, when we started throwing the idea around of making one happen, I knew that having the APC Series on the card was a must-have”

The evening’s undercard will feature a Mini Stock Invitational that has drawn interest from teams across Ontario. The inaugural race for the division at ‘Canada’s Crown Jewel’ will undoubtedly be one of the most sought-after victories for any competitor.

“We have over 40 teams entered for this race and I haven’t been able to walk into a speedway all year without having someone come up to me and talk about this race,” says Nagy. “The buzz is absolutely out there for this one. We’re going to have one of the best Mini Stock fields that Ontario has to offer.”
