Maine racing veteran Johnny Clark won his first Oxford 250 Sunday night at Oxford Plains Speedway. Clark, who first entered the historic race in 1997, held off fellow Main racing veteran Jeff Taylor for the win.

Clark, a six-time Pro All Stars Series champion, took the lead with less than 70 laps to go in spite of a late-race rally from Taylor. Taylor blistered the competition in the first half of the race, lapping all but 13 cars, but after pitting twice in a lap 161 caution, started at the rear to make his rally to the end.

Joey Doiron finished third with Dave Farrington Jr. fourth and Mike Hopkins rounding out the top five finishers.
