The race saw 59 entries with qualifying through heat races, consis, and a last chance race. A random draw determined starting order in the heats. A multi-car wreck on lap eight of the feature dashed the hopes of many for their run at the checkered flag. The win was worth $29,500 for Helliwell which included the $25,000 first prize plus bonus money. The lion’s share of the lap leader money went to Benjamin who was at the point for 159 laps. While it was Benjamin’s first Oxford 250 win, it was his third PASS win at Oxford this season.

The HP Hood Oxford 250 was a PASS North/National combination event.

The PASS North SLM division continues its 2016 season September 18 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway near Portland.
