With just a couple of races under their belts this season the championship points battle for the Toursec Thunder & Lightning cars is just underway. 2018 Thunder champion Darren Flemming (Belnan, NS) is the early leader in the Toursec Thunder division, however just 22 points separate all competitors in the class after one event. “Rational” Richard Drake (Halifax, NS) is on top of the points in the Toursec Lightning class heading into Friday’s Twin 50’s. Drake has lots of competition hot on his heels with less than 10 points between the top four in the Lightning standings after two events.

Joining track announcer Tim Terry on Friday evening is Alex Johnson, driver of the #14 CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series Sportsman.
