BEDFORD, NS – Management for the Cross Roads Maritime League of Legends Tour is excited to announce the series 2023 schedule. The schedule features 10 events over nine weekends beginning in May and wrapping up in September. In total, the series will visit five of the region’s top oval racing venues throughout their summer of racing.

Scotia Speedworld, near Halifax, hosts the Cross Roads Maritime League of Legends Tour three times, kicking off the season on May 20, and closing the year on September 23. In between, the series will visit on August 12 as a part of the Summer Clash 250 weekend.

Riverside International Speedway will also host the Cross Roads Maritime League of Legends Tour within the Province of Nova Scotia. The series will stop at the James River track twice in the middle of their summer stretch. The first race will take place during IWK 250 Super Weekend on July 14 with a return engagement to the high banks on August 19.

The Province of New Brunswick will see a trio of stops. Petty International Raceway in River Glade will host the series on Saturday, July 22 during the River Glade International weekend and again on September 16 during the Mike Stevens Memorial weekend. The INEX-sanctioned Tour will also stop at Speedway 660 on Labour Day Weekend for a pair of races on September 2 & 3 as part of Speed Weekend.

The only stop in Prince Edward Island is July 29 at Oyster Bed Speedway.

In 2022, Owen Mahar (Hubley) took home a close three-way Cross Roads Maritime League of Legends Tour championship battle over Danny Chisholm (Canning) and Gage Gilby (Enfield). Both Mahar and Gilby kicked off their 2023 seasons at the recent INEX Winter Nationals event at Citrus County Speedway in Florida. Gilby captured the Young Lions Legend championship while Mahar was eighth in a highly competitive Semi-Pro Legends division at the weeklong event.
