SHEDIAC, NB – Management for the Shediac CENTRE for Speed (CFS) is pleased to announce the formation of the Maritime Super Series (MSS) for the 2021 racing season. The MSS will see five races during the speedway’s eight-event stock car season. MSS classes will include a rotation of Sportsman, Street Stock, Mini Stock, Bombers, and Bandolero classes. CFS hopes to add other touring series’ to its schedule for 2021.

In addition, CFS has enhanced its management team with the addition of long-time motorsports enthusiast Tom Nicholls, owner of the Nicholls Group. He will provide assistance in securing sponsorships and with the operations of the facility.

“Tom brings a variety of experience and knowledge in motorsports and related business operations to our facility and we’re thrilled he has joined our team”, said Tim Wile, acting GM at the Centre for Speed.

Tentative dates for the MSS at CFS are June 12, June 26 / 27, July 17, August 14, and September 25. Additional stock car dates planned include a marquee NB / PEI Street Stock event in partnership with up to five NB / PEI tracks participating. An extended distance Pro Stock Invitational is also planned for August 21. CFS will move the Atlantic Stock Car Championships to the second weekend in October (October 8, 9, and 10) with a rain date on the 11. This change was made possible in partnership with Sydney Speedway owner Greg Dowe.
