Jordan Anderson suffered second-degree burns in a scary fiery wreck at Talladega Superspeedway Saturday during the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Anderson’s truck burst into flames after a mechanical failure; the truck was engulfed in flames which also got inside the driver compartment.

Anderson could be seen trying to get out of the truck while it was still moving and quickly exited once the track came to rest alongside the inside retaining wall. He was treated by medics and then air-lifted to a local hospital.

Later Saturday evening the racer released this statement on his social media…
