PETITCODIAC, NB – Ashton Tucker took the checkers Saturday evening to win the Mike Stevens Memorial 254 at Petty International Raceway. The victory is perhaps the biggest of his young career to date and adds to an impressive back half of the ’23 season for the Brad Silliker Motorsports #2 team.

Tucker took the lead on a late-race restart. Jarrett Butcher had been leading prior to the caution brought out when Cory Hall slowed to a stop on the backstretch. Butcher and Tucker raced side-by-side swapping the lead for the last 10 laps with Tucker winning by a fender. Craig Slaunwhite, who led much of the race, was just behind the leaders in third. 27 cars took the green flag.
