Elliott Sadler, driver of the No. 1 NASCAR Xfinity Series car for JR Motorsports, issued a statement Wednesday announcing this will be his last season in a full-time NASCAR racing career.

Sadler started his NASCAR career in 1995 in the Xfinity Series and has since amassed 338 starts with 13 wins in that series. He also competed in the NASCAR Cup Series for several seasons with 438 starts and three wins. JR Motorsports has not announced a replacement driver for the No. 1 car in 2019.
