RIVER GLADE, NB – For the third time this season, JR Lawson (Shubenacadie, NS) is a winner in the Mister Transmission Mini Stock division.

Lawson took home a clean 35-lap feature on the undercard for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Irving Oil 150 on Saturday by passing Trevor Smith (Windsor, NS) for the lead. Lawson’s teammate Chantel Ackles (Shubenacadie, NS) would get by Smith for the runner-up spot with Smith landing in third, edging out reigning track champion Rob Poirier (Irishtown, NB) for the spot. Ryan McKnight (Sussex, NB) finished fifth in the nine-car field.

Colton Noble (Upper Nine Mile River, NS) brought home the 50-lap Leisure Days RV Bandolero feature. The Beginner Bandolero and Outlaw/Bandit Bandolero feature were combined, with the race being run in two 25-lap segments. Noble raced to the win ahead of Danny Chisholm (Canning, NS), Chase MacKay (Bear Cove, NS), Jordan Rushton (Dartmouth, NS) and top Beginner Ayden Christensen (Windsor Junction, NS). Nine Bandolero cars answered the call to the green flag.

Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, PE) took home the Irving Oil 150 for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour while Braden Langille (Shubenacadie, NS) raced to the Maritime League of Legends Tour R&D Performancenter 50. Full results for those two sanctioning bodies can be found via their websites.

McKay Builders Sportsman, Street Stock, Mister Transmission Mini Stock, Kings County Performance Women on Wheels, Leisure Days RV Bandoleros and the Atlantic Modified Tour. Racing begins on Saturday, July 27th at 6pm.
