Pro Stock Tour on PEI This Saturday July 29, 2022 Regional The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour returns to scenic Prince Edward Island this Saturday for the BJ’s Truck Centre 150. This will be the Series’ second and final visit of the season to Oyster Bed Speedway. The race will mark round eight of 12 for the popular touring series. Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races will kick off racing action at 4:00 pm, and grandstands open at 2:00 pm. Following the IWK 250, Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) continues to lead the championship point standings. Greg Proude’s second win of the season last Saturday closed the gap on Slaunwhite, now just a 44-marker deficit. Russell Smith Jr. (Lakeside, NS), 2021 Rookie of the Year Matt Vaughan (Bedford, NS), and Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) round out the top five in the chase for the championship. Also on the racing card for Saturday are the Cross Roads Maritime League of Legends, the Heart of a Champion Vintage Race Car Series, and the Honda Outlaws will thrill fans prior to the BJ’s Truck Centre 150. The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour will also host an autograph session on Saturday. Fans will have an opportunity to get up and personal with the cars and stars of the Series. The Autograph session is currently slated to take place following the opening class features. Tickets for the BJ’s Truck Centre 150 will be available at the gates on race day only. Adult tickets are $30.00, youth (8-18yrs) are $10.00, and seven and under are free. Admission to the pits is $35.00.
