OYSTER BED BRIDGE, PE – Robbie MacEwen (Sherwood) put forth a dominating performance en route to his first Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour victory in the Lucas Oil 150 at home at Oyster Bed Speedway.

MacEwen led 116 laps, most of those with Dylan Gosbee (Cornwall) on his back bumper. Gosbee came home in second place with multi-time Series champion Shawn Turple (Enfield, NS) in third. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) drove to a fourth-place finish with Canada Day 150 winner Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell) completing the top five in the 22-car field.

Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races kicked off racing action for the Lucas Oil 150. Gosbee, MacEwen, and Hicken each picked up qualifying race victories. Blenkhorn made up the most positions during the feature earning him the Kenny U-Pull Hard Charger award. Jamie Stewart (Charlottetown) won the Exide Batteries Rookie of the Race Award. MacEwen picked up the Most Laps Led Award.

Prior to the Lucas Oil 150 the Maritime League of Legends raced in the Tim’s Corner Motorsports 50. Braden Langille (Shubenacadie, NS) took the checkered flag followed by Sam Rogers (Lower Onslow, NS) and Shelby Baker (Fall River, NS) who came in second and third.

The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour returns to action next Saturday at 5:00 pm for the 20th edition of the prestigious Toromont Cat 250. Don’t miss a minute of this high-horsepower experience as teams battle for their piece of the $60,000 purse and contingency funds and the opportunity to engrave their name on the Scott Fraser Memorial Cup.

Tickets for the Cat 250 are $35.00 for adults, youth (8-15yrs) $10.00, children 7 and under are free! Pit admission for those 18+ is $40.00. Weekend passes for the Sportsman 100 and the Toromont Cat 250 are $50.00 for pit admission (adults only), $45.00 grandstands.

And not to be forgotten is the Food Truck Rally and Antique and Super Cars Show & Shine on Thursday from 4-8PM at Scotia Speedworld. The event will feature a Meet & Greet with some of the cars and stars of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour so be to come out and get up close and personal with some of your favourite drivers.
