Friday is Laker News Night at Scotia Speedworld July 6, 2022 Regional The CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series continues this Friday night with all divisions on the racing card for The Laker News night. Fans will get to take in the 27th running of the Shriners Classic, a 50-lap race for the Fleet Brake Sportsman cars. The race was originally scheduled for June 24th but was postponed for rain. It’s also a big night for the Strictly Hydraulics Legends cars as they will compete in an INEX National Qualifier. It’s a jam-packed night of racing you won’t want to miss, action gets underway at 7:00pm! The Laker News Night serves as a regional qualifier for INEX Asphalt Nationals. The top finishing INEX Pro, Master, Semi-Pro and Young Lion driver in the Strictly Hydraulics 50 will become eligible for a provisional starting spot in Asphalt Nationals. This year, the oval finale for Legend cars will be held at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, November 5th. Admission for the CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series is $20 for adults, $5 for youth (8-15yrs), children seven and under are free all season at Scotia Speedworld!
