Elsa Interferes With Petty Plans for Friday Night July 8, 2021 Regional PETITCODIAC, NB – Tropical Storm Elsa has forced the postponement of the Friday night card at Petty International Raceway during the 57th Jones Auto Body River Glade International to Sunday afternoon, July 11th. While the storm should be a post tropical system before impacting New Brunswick, wind gusts and rain are expected throughout the day and overnight Friday with no window to get racing in. The postponed card will feature a Street Stock 100 and action in the Leisure Days RV Bandoleros, Eastern Powder Coating Legends, Mister Transmission Mini Stocks and Kings County Performance Women on Wheels. Racing on Sunday, July 11th will begin at 2pm. Once the system passes, the gates will open on Saturday, July 10th for action at the 57th Jones Auto Body River Glade International. The Brycon Construction Pro Stock 200 and AE McKay Builders Late Model Sportsman 100 will anchor the Saturday action with the Passione Flooring & Interiors East Coast Mini Stock Tour’s CannaConnect 50, the Heart of a Champion Hot Rod Classics presented by Conrad Brothers and Subaru of Moncton and the Leisure Days RV Bandoleros playing support. Over 20 cars are registered in each Late Model division for the headline feature events of the weekend.
