GEARY, NB (June 2, 2017) – The Pro All Stars Series 150 has been postponed to a later date. Rain throughout the weekend’s forecast has forced officials to pull the plug. When a makeup date is available from Series and Track officials, we will be sure to pass it along.

Coming up on Saturday, June 10th it’s Regular Point Racing, highlighted by the Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter 50. Re/Max Group Four Realty Pro Stock, Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman and DMR Auto Sales Street Stock divisions will also be on the card. Post time is 6:30 p.m.

GEARY, NB (June 1, 2017) – The Pro All Star Series, which comes to Speedway 660 on Saturday night, will make six drivers extremely happy. That’s because they will each earn provisional starting positions for one of North America’s most prestigious short-track races. The top three Canadians and top three Americans in this weekend’s PASS 150 will leave Speedway 660 knowing they will run in the Oxford 250 in southern Maine in late August.

“Every short track driver dreams of winning the Oxford 250 and after the PASS 150 this weekend six drivers will take the first step toward making that dream come true,” said Greg Fahey, Speedway 660’s defending RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock champion. “The competition is going to be tough, but we feel pretty good about our chances and would love to earn the opportunity to go down to Oxford Plains in August knowing that we already have a guaranteed provisional.”

Johnny Clark has a four race PASS winning streak at Speedway 660. He won the all star races in 2010, 11, 12 and 14. The race was rained out in 2013 and the Pro All Star Series didn’t run in the Maritimes in 15 and 16.

“We love coming up to New Brunswick and always seem to run pretty good at 660 winning two SpeedWeekend 250’s in addition to those four PASS races, but our last win there was three years ago” said Clark. “We’re having a decent season so far, but are still looking for our first win of the year and a trip to New Brunswick might be just what we need to go to victory lane.”

Race fans will also be treated to action in the DMR Auto Sales & Service Street Stock and Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter divisions. One of the biggest crowds of the season is expected to be at Speedway 660 for the only Maritime race on the Pro All Star Series 2017 schedule. Racing gets underway at 6:30 p.m.

Adult ticket prices are $35; Youth tickets, for kids between 13 and 15 are $20 and; admission is always free for Speedway 660’s youngest race fans, 12 and under. Weekend camping is available for $30.

The rain date for Saturday’s PASS 150 is Sunday at 2 p.m. If the weather is unsettled on Saturday, fans and race teams are encouraged to call the Speedway 660 race line at 506-454-7223 or visit www.Speedway660.com for race day status updates. Fans can also book camp sites by contacting speedway staff on the phone or web.

Speedway 660 is one of Canada’s premier stock car racing facilities. Located in New Brunswick’s Fredericton region, it attracts race teams and fans from the Maritimes, Maine and Quebec. The Speedway 660 racing season runs from mid-May until Labour Day Weekend. SpeedWeekend 2014, one of the most prestigious short track events in eastern North America, is always a fitting way to wrap up Speedway 660’s racing season.
