Sneak Peak – Mark Martin’s Race Car for the IWK 250

Management at Riverside International Speedway released a photo on social media last night showing the car NASCAR legend Mark Martin will drive in the IWK 250 on July 15.

The Cat Car for Kids is nearing completion and will soon be ready for signing and well wishes from patients and their families at the IWK Health Centre prior to its entry in the big race.

The social media posts received attention from thousands of race fans from all over North America including many notables in stock car racing such as Mark Martin himself, Kelley Earnhardt (daughter of Dale Sr. and sister to Dale Jr.), Ricky Craven (IWK 250 celebrity driver in 2007), Rodney Childers (crew chief for Kevin Harvick), and Michael McCarville (Harvick crew member and native of PEI)…
