Scotia Speedworld kicks off Summer Clash 250 week this Thursday night with the Food Truck Rally, Show N Shine, and Skills Competition. The event will take place on the track at Scotia Speedworld this Thursday, August 11th from 5:00 – 9:00 pm. The evening will feature popular Food Trucks, a Car & Truck Show N Shine, and Skills Competition. Additionally, we are bringing some of the cars and stars of the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour and CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series for a live Meet & Greet!

Bring your appetite as we will have food trucks on-site and ready to serve up some tasty eats and sips! Food Trucks expected are -The Atomic Dog Café, Kismit Kettle Corn, George’s Lunch Truck, Cool Bus Treats, Barn Yard Grill, Hawaiian Shaved Ice, and Hoppy Wheels – who will be serving unique non-alcoholic beverages. For those of you interested in real beer our Beer Hut will be open above turn one for the evening.

Fans will get to see some incredible Antique & Super Cars as well as Trucks at this year’s Show N Shine. That’s right if you have a cool truck of any kind bring it out and put it on display! Participants will be vying for some great prizes and the ride voted Fan Favourite will have the opportunity to pace the field for the Summer Clash 250 and take part in the on-track autograph session on Saturday. Show N Shine participants are encouraged to pre-register at www.scotiaspeedworld.ca. Pre-registration is not required but we will be giving away an awesome East Coast International prize pack to one lucky participant who pre-registers –including awesome swag and two weekend passes to the Summer Clash 250!

Calling Class One drivers! We have added a Skills Competition to the event menu this year. Drivers will test their skills vying for bragging rights as well as $200 cash and two weekend passes to Summer Clash 250. The Skills Competition will be held in the pit area and is presented by Commercial Safety College.

There will also be a FanZone set up on track that will feature a Meet & Greet with some of the stars and cars of the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour and CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series. Fans will be able to get autographs and photos with their favourite driver!

Admission is $5.00 per person (children 7 and under free) and will be available at the gates. Tickets for the Summer Clash 250 race will be available at the event as well as Summer Clash 250 hats and T-shirts!
