HALIFAX, NS – Cory Hall (Jolicure, NB) won Sunday’s Kenny U-Pull 150 at Scotia Speedworld with a dominating performance; it was the season opener for the Fort Garry Industries Pro Stock Tour. Ashton Tucker (Miramichi, NB) finished second, and Austin MacDonald (Pictou) was third. Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake) and Jordan Veinotte (Porter’s Lake) rounded out the top five finishers.


The race saw four cautions, two lead changes, and was completed in 51 minutes, 30 seconds at the 3/8-mile oval; 15 competitors took the green flag, including Alex Johnson (Enfield) in his series debut.

Gage Gilby (Enfield) and Hall won the respective Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races, putting them on the front row for the Kenny U-Pull 150. Additional contingency cash and prizes were also awarded, too:

Support class action was provided by the Bay Equipment Weekly Racing Series’ Traction Mini Stocks and the Auto World MASS Sportsman Series.


Kody Quinn (Glace Bay) won both halves of the Twin 20s for the Mini Stocks and Matt Vaughan (Fall River) won the Schooner Contracting 100 for the sportsman.


The Fort Garry Industries Pro Stock Tour returns to Petty International Raceway next Saturday, June 7th at 4:00pm for the Mr. Lube + Tires 150. Tickets will be available at the gate on race day.
