Chase Elliott, 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion, is planning to stay busy racing over the off-season.
He will go after his third Snowball Derby win on December 6 at Five Flags Speedway, driving a super late model and competing against some of the top short-track drivers in North America including Bubba Pollard and Nova Scotia’s own Cole Butcher (entry list here).
Yesterday, he announced via social media that he will make his Chili Bowl debut January 11-16 in Tulsa, Oklahoma – one of the biggest dirt racing events in the U.S.
I’m going to try my best to play in the dirt at the @cbnationals!! Should be fun…

He is also slated to run a two-day midget racing event at Millbridge Speedway (NC) on December 12-13, and while not confirmed, is rumoured to be entering the Rolex 24 at Daytona in late January.
Elliott said in a recent interview that being diverse behind the wheel is a good thing and that he can learn from different experiences to make him better on Sunday.
