Speedway 660 will host its annual Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday. Fans will be treated to an on-track autograph session at 5:30 PM and racing gets underway at 6:30. There will be lots of prizes for fans who will be entertained by an incredible night of championship point racing in four divisions.

“We travel a long way from Boundary Creek and bring three race cars to Speedway 660 every week, so this is our favourite place to race and we just love Fan Appreciation Night,” said Courtney O’Blenis, one of Speedway 660’s most popular drivers. “The fans support us all season and we always look forward to putting on a great show for them and meeting all of the kids during the autograph session on Fan Appreciation Night.”

The pre-race autograph session will run from 5:30 until 6:15 and racing gets underway at 6:30 PM. Fans will see action in all four weekly championship divisions including the Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters; DMR Auto Sales Street Stocks; Martins Home Heating Sportsman and; Re/Max Group Four Realty Pro Stocks.

“We always get a lot of positive feedback about Fan Appreciation Night because our drivers love to spend time with the fans and enjoy the autograph session as much as the kids do,” said Speedway 660’s Max Roy. “We’ve also had a really positive response to our recent decision to provide free admission for kids 15 years of age and under to all of our races, so we expect to see another big crowd and exceptional racing on Saturday night.”

There is no rain date for Fan Appreciation Night. If the weather is unsettled on Saturday, please call the Speedway 660 race line at 506-454-7223 or visit www.Speedway660.com for race day status updates.

Adult ticket prices are $14; pit passes are $2 and; admission is absolutely free for Speedway 660’s youngest race fans, 15 and under.

On Saturday, August 19th, Speedway 660 will hold its final night of point racing. The Night of Champions is the last chance for drivers to make a run for divisional titles or rookie of the year awards. Point battles are tight in every division heading into the final two weeks of point racing.
