JAMES RIVER, NS – Management for Riverside International Speedway have opened competitor registration for the 2017 edition of the IWK 250 presented by Steve Lewis, set for July 15 at the iconic facility. The Entry Form is online and can be easily completed using a mobile or desktop device.

There are incentives for those who register by June 23, including guaranteed front pit parking for the first 26 entries, driver bio in the event program, discounted pit passes and more.

The IWK 250 Competitor Information Package shows the race purse at just over $88,000.00 with $10,000.00 to win includes the qualifying format. Heat races will determine the first 20 spots, the next two will come from the Last Chance Race, and the balance through provisional starting spots (four PST, one Speedway 660, one PASS, and two track discretionary).

Registration will open next week for the NAPA Sportsman Series and the Maritime League of Legends competitors who plan to race July 14.

The total purse for the weekend, which includes the sportsman and legends payouts, is over $100,000.00.

NASCAR legend Mark Martin is the celebrity driver for the IWK 250 this year, taking on the top drivers from eastern Canada and beyond.

The IWK Super Race Weekend kicks off Thursday, July 13 with the IWK 250 Tailgate Party featuring Canada’s east coast acoustic party band, Signal Hill. On Friday, July 14 it’s the NAPA Sportsman Series and the Maritime League of Legends, and on Saturday, July 15, it’s the IWK 250 presented by Steve Lewis.
