UPDATE AT 9 A.M. SUNDAY – Due to conditions in the area, all activity at Martinsville Speedway for Sunday, March 25, has been postponed until Monday. The Alpha Energy Solutions 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race is scheduled for 11 a.m. EST on Monday, followed by the STP 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at 2 p.m. EST.

MARTINSVILLE, VA – Soon after the start of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway came the rain/snow mix. With a gloomy forecast for the rest of the day and into the wee hours of Sunday morning, officials wasted no time in postponing the completion of the truck race until Sunday after the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race.

The foul weather also canceled qualifying for the Cup race and so the field will line up according to car owner point standings which will put Martin Truex, Jr. on the pole for the third straight week. Kyle Busch starts outside pole. Truex was fastest in both Cup practices at Martinsville.

The Truck series race will resume on lap 25 of 250; the estimated resumption time on Sunday is 8 p.m. AT (7 p.m. ET). The Cup race starts at 3 p.m. AT (2 p.m. ET).
