PASS North Schedule Rearranged; Championship Weekend Moved

September 26, 2006 - According to a release issued today by PASS Racing, the remainder of the 2006 PASS North season has been rearranged to accommodate the large number of rain outs this season.

The race that had been planned for this weekend, at Riverside Speedway in NEW HAMPSHIRE was cancelled to accommodate the rain out at Beech Ridge this past weekend. The Riverside race had originally been postponed by rain June 4. Now the series will see action at Beech Ridge September 29 & 30.

The race scheduled for October 8 at Autodrome Montmagny (Quebec) - a rain date from September 3 - has been cancelled in favour of a new event now set for Unity Raceway (Maine) October 21-22, to be called “PASS Championship Weekend at Unity.” The Unity event will feature the PASS Outlaw Late Model Series Central/North Divisions Combo Championship Finale 100 (moved ahead from October 28th at Unity) as well as adding the Wildcat/Strictly Open, a Pure Stock Open, and a Mini- Stock/Stock 4 Open. The PASS North Super Late Model Championship race will be on Sunday October 22 along with the PASS Modified Championship race and Round #3 of the Northeast Super Stock/Limited/Sport Series Challenge Series.

The race at Riverside Speedway NOVA SCOTIA on October 13-14 remains as announced, except it is now round 11 of 12 on the PASS season, rather than the championship race.

To clarify, here is the remainder of the PASS North 2006 schedule (as of today - subject to change)...

September 29-30: Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, Scarborough, Maine - round 10 of 12

October 13-14: Riverside Speedway, James River, Nova Scotia - round 11 of 12

October 21-22: Unity Raceway, Unity, Maine - round 12 of 12
