Real Trouble - Frank Fraser (1969)

A page from a 1969 Drag City program.

"REAL TROUBLE" Frank Fraser hit that at Drag City last week. After Tuesday nights races, his car was impounded and checked out. It was given a clean bill of health. Saturday night Frank got tangled up in some extra cars on the track in the 15-lap Charger race but came on with a real impressive win in the 25-lap Charger race.

Frank, who has been leading the Charger class, is one of the finer drivers at Drag City and we wish him the best of luck.

Frank and his wife Grace and their one child (Frank Jr.) reside in Lower Sackville, NS. Frank has been racing for four years, but apparently is a man of many interests as his hobbies consist of golf and hockey.

This 24-year old salesman is running a '56 Ford owned by Ted VanErp. This is a four door, 312 cu. in. beauty which runs under number "22".

Frank's only comment about his car is that she's FAST! We won't argue.

For those of you who don't remember, Drag City was great 1/3-mile asphalt oval located in Lower Sackville - operated as Drag City in '68 and '69, then as Halifax Dartmouth International Speedway from '70 to '73. The facility also had a 1/4-mile drag strip.
