"Southwest Stock Car Association will be having our annual general meeting on Feb. 28th at 1:00 PM. This will be held at the Salmon River Fire Hall.

The meeting will outline the 2010 racing schedule and improvement strategy. We welcome back past members and encourage new members and volunteers to join our association. There will be a $25.00 membership fee collected at the door which will entitle the members to participate in discussions to further develop Lake Doucette Motor Speedway into a self sustaining racetrack.

Southwest Stock Car Association is a non-profit organization that works completely on a volunteer basis and needs the support of the local community and racers. All monies raised go directly back into track improvement and development.

Working on the heels of last years successful single event, 2010 promises to bring ever better racing. A new racing division (Maritime Sportsman Tour), has been formed and LDMS has been fortunate enough to secure 2 race dates for the tour!"
