Qualifying The better of two laps will determine a driver’s official qualifying speed for the Kobalt Tools 500. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Qualifying begins at 6:10 p.m. (EST) on Friday, March 5. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) will provide qualifying coverage at 7 p.m. AT / 6 p.m. ET. Cable channel SPEED will begin coverage at 7 p.m. AT / 6 p.m. ET.

Radio/TV
Fox will televise the race live beginning at 2 p.m. AT / 1 p.m. ET Sunday March 7 with pre-race coverage beginning at 1 p.m. AT / noon ET. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) will also broadcast the race live to its affiliate stations and on SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Ch 128) beginning at 1 p.m. AT / noon ET.
