Scott Alexander led all 15 laps of the first heat race; the win earned him the pole position for the Atlantic CAT 250.


Defending CARQUEST Tour champ Rollie MacDonald (13) started second in the first heat, but got shuffled to the outside and finished sixth.


Shawn Turple (0) and 2002, 2003 Atlantic CAT 250 champ Ben Rowe raced side-by-side for a few laps in the second heat race.


Then it was Ben's father Mike Rowe, 2005 Atlantic CAT 250 champ, trying to overtake his son. In the end, Travis Benjamin won the heat.


Cassius Clark (8), multi-time winner on the 06 PASS North Tour, won the third and final heat. Marty Prevost (11) has a snappy new paint scheme on his racecar...

Action was fierce between the Clark's, Johnny (54) and Cassius (8), in the closing laps of the Atlantic CAT 250.

Frank Fraser (right) presented Johnny Clark with the Scott Fraser Memorial Cup. Johnny becomes the third recipient of the trophy that honours the late Scott Fraser, driver of the No. 00 Atlantic CAT car, who lost his life in a March 2004 snowmobile accident. Fraser told Clark that watching he and Cassius battling for the win reminded him of watching Scott and Ben Rowe battling for positions in years past...
