Kenseth Sweeps Weekend at Bristol
BRISTOL, TENN. -- Former NASCAR champion Matt Kenseth is back in championship form.
The smooth-driving DeWALT Ford driver took over the lead in the final stages of the grueling Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway to win his second race in as many nights at the half-mile, high-banked track.
Kenseth, who also won Friday night's NASCAR Busch Series race, held off a hard-charging Kyle Busch to capture his fourth NEXTEL Cup event this season. The win clinched a spot in the Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup, the 10-race dash to the championship.
