Carl Edwards won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 7th Annual SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500 with a lap of 26.224 seconds, 137.279 mph. He breaks his own record (136.389) set Nov. 14, 2010. This is his eighth pole in 231 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is his first pole and first top-10 start in 2011. This is his third pole in 14 races at Phoenix International Raceway. Edwards won last November's race.

RIVER GLADE, NB - Work continues to prepare Petty International Raceway for the 2011 season in spite of record amounts of snowfall in the Moncton and surrounding areas this winter. While progress has been somewhat slowed by the white stuff, work has continued in clearing the new pit area on the back stretch and in making improvements inside the tower. The facility is set to re-open June 4 with round two of 12 on the 2011 Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour (PST).

  Jennifer Jo Cobb made history last week with her sixth place finish in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at Daytona International Speedway. Her performance marked the highest finish for a female in NCWTS history. Cobb just missed earning the best-ever finish for a female driver in one of NASCAR's top-three series. Sara Christian set the benchmark in 1949 with a fifth place finish at Heidelberg Raceway in Pittsburgh in a Cup series race.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Februrary 11, 2011) - Ty Dillon set the standard early, and made it stick. Dillon, an 18-year-old ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards rookie, drove a qualifying lap in 48.509 seconds (185.533 mph) to win the Menards Pole Award presented by Ansell for Saturday's Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona International Speedway.
