Cole Butcher, the 2016 Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour champion, has released a schedule of events for this year to include at least 21 races in the Maritimes and in the United States.

According to a recent post on the Butcher Racing Facebook page, the young driver will start the season April 21 at Hickory Motor Speedway Speedway in North Carolina at a PASS South event. He then turns his focus to events closer to home until the Aug. 26-27 weekend when he will enter the 200-lap River Glade International at Petty Int’l Raceway in New Brunswick on Saturday and then the Oxford 250 in Maine on Sunday. He returns home after that to finish the Pro Stock Tour season and then closes his season with one event in New Brunswick and three in the U.S.: Oxford in October, North Carolina in November, Florida in December.

According to the post, more races could be added to Butcher’s schedule with Wilson Motorsports, the U.S. team he raced with at the 2016 Snowball Derby and scored an impressive sixth-place finish.

The Butcher Racing team is also preparing a pro stock car for Cole’s younger brother, Jarrett, a Legends champion who ran a handful of races on the PST circuit in 2016. Jarrett is getting a new Distance Racing chassis for 2017; his schedule has yet to be released.
