The MJS Holdings Limited and Prime Lift Limited East Coast Mini Stock Tour (ECMST) is excited to release their 2018 schedule. The schedule will see the only Four Cylinder touring series in Atlantic Canada visit six unique paved stock car ovals on their eight-race calendar from May to September.

The ECMST will open 2018 in New Brunswick, a province that will host half of the eight races on the year. Petty International Raceway in River Glade will open the season on Saturday, May 19th and will see a return trip from the Series on Saturday, August 25th. The CENTRE For Speed in Grand-Barachois will see the ECMST tackle the 3/8-mile oval on Saturday, June 9th. Geary, New Brunswick’s Speedway 660 will host the Tour for a second consecutive year on SpeedWeekend with a Saturday, September 1st event.

The Nova Scotia swing to the 2018 schedule will start with two new tracks to the Series in its second year. Scotia Speedworld in Enfield, a track rich with Four Cylinder and Mini Stock racing tradition, will welcome the series on Saturday, June 23rd. The Series will then make a trip to Lake Doucette Motor Speedway in Digby County for a long weekend Sunday, August 5th stop. In addition to being the biggest track the Series will visit at a half mile in length, the main feature will also be the longest with 75-laps on deck for the Hondas. The ECMST stop will mark the first time a major regional stock car touring series has visited the facility in over five years.

Riverside International Speedway in James River will host two stops on the ECMST. Riverside will hold the only Friday night race on the 2018 calendar on Friday, August 17th and will hold the season finale for the series on Saturday, September 8th. The track hosted the inaugural ECMST race in August 2017.

Series officials are excited to be a part of many major Maritime racing weekends throughout 2018. In addition to the aforementioned SpeedWeekend at Speedway 660, the ECMST will race on the same weekend as the NASCAR Pinty’s Series Bumper to Bumper 300 at Riverside International Speedway and compete four times on the same card as the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour.

“We can’t wait to get the season started,” said Mark Williams, Vice President of the East Coast Mini Stock Tour Board of Directors. “We have secured races at six oval tracks on some of the biggest racing weekends in Atlantic Canada. We are looking forward to showcasing our Series, our unique brand of racing and our dedicated marketing partners throughout 2018!”
